Synopsis:

The group attempts to convince targets that their organization is the true and legitimate American government by making claims to lawful ownership of "the meets and bounds and seaward boundaries" of all land belonging to the continental 48 states of the United States of America, held in trust and secured by chains of title and other public and private securities. They teach that American rights are secured by the Articles of Confederation, the US Constitution is invalid, and the actual United States is belligerently occupying their land as an enemy-combatant to the "true republic". Using this logic, the group convinces subjects to enter into Private Membership Associations and other trust arrangements by declaring "residency" and signing a "Bi-Lateral Social Compact Agreement" and several other documents with them. After intake, subjects are instructed to move all of their assets into trusts under the organization, naming the group's leadership as trustees. Once properly subjugated, victims may receive mental, emotional, psychological, and physical abuses, including arrest and detainment, trial in private courts, and even imprisonment and confiscation of property. When a subjugated member attempts to exit the organization, the member is called "treasonous" and a liar, accused of participating in crimes committed by the TUSA organization, accused of unlawful and illegal acts fabricated by the organization, and informed that they have placed themselves in a permanent, irreversible position of "enemy of the US" and therefore have no remedy or recourse beyond the mercy of the organization entrapping them.

The group's religious leader also runs a "temple" where subjects are taught that their "government" is God's kingdom on earth and any rebellion against the "temple" or "government" constitutes rebellion and war against God. The additional layer of religious manipulations adds further psychological leverage against subjects who attempt to leave.
